About Ifafi Aquatic Club
A mere 35 kilometers west of
Pretoria, in the valley formed by the Magaliesberg
and the Witwatersberg lies this tranquil dam and it's surrounding Towns and
Villages. Among these you will find Hartbeespoort,
Ifafi, Kosmos, Melodie & Meerhof. The dam, which was originally designed for
irrigation, in 1923, flooded it's wall in 1925.
The dam's main use is still irrigation, but people enjoy the dam for
various reasons such as boating, fishing and skiing.
What's fun at Ifafi Boat Club?
There is a large variety of activities available in and
around Ifafi Aquatic Club. At the club we have
sailing, skiing, fishing and a whole lot more. Also, in the surrounding
area, you can find activities to suit you and your family: Elephant park,
zoo and aquarium, fleamarket and galleries... The
list goes on and on!
The club is very safe and secure with fencing and security
cameras as well as 24 hr guarding services.
